Quality products are not manufactured by chance. At Richmondo, Quality Assurance is deeply embedded in our production philosophy. From sourcing raw materials to production to final dispatch, each process is governed by the most stringent quality guidelines. Going a step further, we ensure that all our value chain partners also adhere to specified quality norms. In the ever-evolving fashion industry, our quality systems and processes enable us to execute customised orders of all sizes in shorter turnaround times and with our promised quality.
Taking our quality fulfilment a notch higher, we perform an additional set of fabric quality checks before exporting.
Steps of quality check on fabric before export:
Variation in yarn count
Weaving damages
Colour fastness
Rubbing
Finish checking
Variation in yarn count
We ensure that the variation in the yarn count is almost negligible, and you receive seamless quality across every square inch of the fabric.
Weaving damages
We closely monitor the weaving process during the fabric production stages to ensure product quality and efficiency. Before exporting, we again check the fabric for warp streaks, box marks, pilling, and other weaving damages.
Colour fastness
The quality of the fabric is also determined by its resistance to colour fading. We run colour fastness tests to ensure that the dye doesn’t run and the fabric holds the colour.
Rubbing
Another test to measure the colourfastness of the fabric and to check stain resistance, we perform dry and wet rubbing tests before exporting.
Finish checking
A set of thorough checks to test the finish of the fabric, we run tests such as
shade check, GSM test, shrinkage and crocking tests, pilling, etc., before shipping out your order.
