Design & Development
Putting into play our long experience in the fashion industry, we work closely with client teams to transform design ideas into fabric specifications. Our in-house knowledge repository enables us to suggest appropriate yarns, blends and weaves that best complement the design ideology. To prepare the yarn for further stages of production, we use high- tech machineries such as the Single End Sample Warping Machine and the new-gen Fabric Sample Loom ‘CCI’. Moreover, our expert operators working on Desk Looms lend a touch of experience and tradition to this process.
Warping
Before weaving, warping is an important process in fabric manufacturing that determines the uniformity and precision in yarn arrangement. Our state-of-the-art, high-speed wider width sectional warping machine from Prashant Gamatex is one of the best in the world. The machine’s cradle-type beaming structure comes with an oscillation function that allows for constant beaming tension, defining the superior quality of the fabric.
To meet the dynamism of the fashion industry, we have equipped ourselves with the latest technology for processing short runs in much lesser times. The fully-automated Suzuki’s single end warping machine ‘NAS-10’ adds precision and speed to our warping process, achieving quick turnaround times for smaller fabric orders.
Weaving
The soul of fabric manufacturing, the weaving quality distinguishes premium-quality cloth from an average one. Our leading-edge Toyoda Sulzer Projectile Weaving Loom affords flawless weaving of weft threads with the warp threads. The shuttle-less loom makes it possible for us to weave intricate designs and patterns while retaining the natural drape, feel and durability of the fabric. The projectile weaving looms are equipped with an electronic name writer, enabling us to craft bespoke designs on your preferred blend of fabrics.
Dyeing & Finishing
One of the last processes in fabric manufacturing, dyeing & finishing, is as much a responsibility to dress you well as it is to ensure that the environment doesn’t suffer. Over the years, we have built highly sophisticated and responsive dyeing and finishing process, using in-house resources and a network of process houses known for their expertise and cutting-edge infrastructure. Through our extended processing capabilities, we deploy hi-tech machines such as singeing, jet dyeing, jigger, stenter mercerizing, zero finish, conti, kier decatizing, and continuous scouring to ensure the best finish. Also, we adhere to stringent quality parameters and environmental norms.
Fabric Inspection
At Richmondo, we follow the globally accepted Four Point rating system to ensure that each dispatch of our exquisite fabric meets the highest international quality standards. A set of highly advanced machines and equipment, coupled with manual inspections for added assuredness, are used for the final fabric inspection before despatch.
